Laura chose the stunning Preston Dress by Wona Concept, working closely with Opus Couture to make a series of bespoke alterations to ensure it was the perfect fit for her vision.
"Opus made the whole experience incredibly special, from the moment I entered their beautiful store to the final fitting. The Preston dress arrived the day before my first appointment—I think it was meant to be!" Laura shared.
With 10 fittings, her gown underwent significant changes, including:
Reinforcing the overskirt with Horsehair for added structure
Adding delicate straps for a nighttime look
Custom buttons down the back of the dress and overskirt
A bespoke belt to complete the ensemble
Each detail was executed with precision, making Laura’s dress uniquely hers.
The Venue: Trump Turnberry, Donald J Trump Ballroom
Set against the stunning backdrop of Turnberry, Laura and Scott’s wedding took place in the grand Donald J Trump Ballroom. The opulent space exuded romance and timeless elegance, creating the perfect atmosphere for their fairytale celebration.
The Wedding Ring: A Bespoke Masterpiece
Laura’s wedding ring, custom-designed by Tom Coll, features 24 emerald-cut diamonds encircling the band. This dazzling piece was meticulously crafted to complement her engagement ring, adding to the timeless sophistication of her bridal look.
The Shoes: Custom Jimmy Choos
A touch of personalisation made Laura’s wedding shoes extra special—her elegant white Jimmy Choos were custom-made, with her wedding date engraved into the sole. A keepsake she will cherish forever!
The Photographer: Craig & Eva Sanders
Laura and Scott’s wedding was beautifully captured by Craig and Eva Sanders, whose breathtaking photography perfectly preserved every special moment of the day.
The Groom’s Attire: Custom Black Tuxedo by Forbes
Scott looked dapper in a custom-made black tuxedo by Forbes, exuding sophistication and elegance that perfectly complemented Laura’s timeless bridal look.
Wedding Highlights: A Fairytale Come to Life
Laura and Scott’s wedding was nothing short of magical. From the stunning décor to the unforgettable moments, here are a few highlights that made the day truly special:
"Seeing the ballroom for the first time was breathtaking. Jordana absolutely excelled herself in every way—she is the most incredible designer."
A private sneak peek of the ballroom before the wedding breakfast, where the couple had a special moment to thank their suppliers while their function band played Everlasting Love.
Walking into the reception to Marry You, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
A sentimental touch—Laura’s mother transformed her own wedding dress into a bridal robe, creating a heartfelt moment on the morning of the wedding.

Absolutely nothing! "Our wedding was a fairytale, and I feel very lucky to have worked with such incredible suppliers who brought my vision to life. I wanted guests to feel like they stepped into a romantic fairytale, and for the day to be one big party filled with love—timeless, classy, and elegant."
