With over 30 years experience in the bridal industry, Sharon has a wealth of experience and an unrivalled insight into the best designers, venues, and suppliers to perfectly match your wedding day expectations.
Joining Sharon as part of the Couture dream team are an experienced team of bridal consultants. These fully qualified members of staff are here to make sure your journey with Opus is as special as you are.

Sharon
Owner and designer in Chief
Sharon established Opus Couture in 2003 and has over 30 years experience in the Bridal Wear Industry. Qualified in fashion design and embroidery, Sharon has gifted the Opus team with all her expertise and knowledge within the industry. You will find Sharon travelling to and from London where she is an executive member of the Retail Bridalwear Association or creating new designs for her Opus Studio collection, which you can find in our sister salon, Opus Atelier.
Khara
Shop Floor Manager
Our Shop Floor Manager, Khara, started her journey with Opus Couture when she was just 15 carrying out her work experience and he's been here now for over 19 years! Khara’s infectious energy has all our brides instantly feeling comfortable from the moment they walk through the salon doors. Chances are - Khara already knows your gown before you do! Khara specialises in fitting your gown to perfection, stock inventory and customer contact - Khara will have every answers to all your Opus questions!
Alison
Pin Fitter & Technical Support Assistant
Alison is part of our in-house sewing team and supports in all aspects of bridal wear. Whether it's doing your pin fitting, bead-work or adding the final touch to your wedding dress customisation - Alison is on hand. Alongside this, Alison is responsible for completing your bridal journey and carries out the collection process of your gown. With a clear eye for detail, Alison, will guarantee your gown is perfect for your big day!
Lesley
Sewing Room Manager
Lesley has over 40 years experience in the industry and works her magic on all your beautiful gowns. Lesley is based in our in-house sewing room and is a fundamental part of our ‘behind the scenes’ team. Many of our brides never get the pleasure of meeting Lesley, however, rest assured that due to Lesley's dedication and experience your gown is in safe hands!
Susan
Business Manager
Our Business Manager, Susan, has been part of the Opus team for 17 years and oversees everything ‘Opus’. You will find Susan on the shop floor finding our brides dream dress or using her years technical skill to customise our brides beautiful gowns or behind the scenes working her ‘Opus Magic’. Susan is an integral part of ensuring Opus runs smoothly. Her years of managerial experience has allowed the salon to become a safe space for our brides and team members.
Lauren
Social Media Manager
Lauren, an expert in the wedding industry, specialises in everything 'Opus.' Need information on wedding gowns? Lauren has the answers. She also creates captivating content for the salon's Instagram, ensuring a beautiful online presence. For all your wedding needs, Lauren is just a message away.
Sophie
Bridal Sales Consultant
You will find Sophie on the shop floor or may recognise her from our Instagram. Sophie started her journey with Opus as our in-house model and we quickly realised we needed her to be part of the team! Sophie is a vital part of the order process and ensures your gown order is placed correctly - lead times, brand contact and any design customisation are Sophies speciality!
Carolyn
Pin Fitter and Technical Support
Carolyn is one of our trained in house pin fitters and is part of our technical team. She looks after your gown from the minuet it arrives in store , by quality checking every detail then preparing your dress for your fittings. You will see her at your pin fittings and then she will make sure your gown moves seamlessly through the collection process. Carolyn will make sure your dress is everything you dreamed it could be!
Nicole
Bridal Consultant
You will find Nicole on the shop floor meeting all our new brides and helping you find the dress you will wear on your wedding day! She will contact you before you arrive in for a Pre-Call chat making sure you feel comfortable coming in and she can answer and re-assure you, answering any queries you may have. Nicole also makes sure all your treats and goodies are well stocked so you have the best time and have an amazing appointment!
